SummaryTeam Ikuzawa x 100Percent launch limited R-Core X MTB jersey and pantsCollection fuses red-and-white racing heritage with modern performance techFronted by rider Hugo Frixtalon, available now via Team Ikuzawa's online store with worldwide shippingTeam Ikuzawa, the cultural brand founded by legendary Japanese racer Tetsu Ikuzawa and now led by his daughter Mai, has unveiled a new collaboration with performance gear specialist 100Percent. The limited-edition drop introduces two pieces of mountain bike apparel, the R-Core X jersey and R-Core X pants, blending Racing Americana with Japanese precision. The project draws inspiration from Tetsu Ikuzawa’s lesser-known passion for mountain biking. "For my father, mountain biking was never about business—it was his hobby," said Mai Ikuzawa, adding, "he became obsessed with the purity of the engineering, the community spirit and the joy of riding. Against all odds, his team became Japan’s MTB Double Championship winners."Both items carry Team Ikuzawa’s signature red-and-white aesthetic. The R-Core X pants feature a precisely adjustable BOA System waist, high-performance stretch fabric and a water-repellent finish. The jersey channels vintage moto style while integrating modern 4-way stretch technology. Professional rider Hugo Frixtalon, better known as Frix Frix, fronts the campaign, photographed by Marc Blanchard and French rider Dimitri Coste. “Team Ikuzawa has always had a unique style and it’s the direction I’ve always wanted to go with the sport,” said Frixtalon.Blanchard, 100Percent’s Creative Director, added: "This collaboration gave us the chance to merge our performance DNA with their iconic aesthetic, creating gear that’s not just functional, but emotionally resonant."The collection will be available August 26, exclusively through Team Ikuzawa's official site. Based on the campagins imagery, more items, like the co-branded helmet, gloves and goggles are expected to release at a later date, though there has been no official announcment at the time of writing.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
